The bar was purchased by Bob Radonich in 1955. After Bob's death in 2003 his daughter, Danette, took over and still has it today.

  The Jive has been a go-go dance club, karaoke dive, drive-thru, speakeasy, rock/punk bar and home to 1960s surf rock band The Ventures and Obscure Movie Night Theater.

The Jive currently has Karaoke seven nights a week with Live Bands on some Saturdays.
